Celebutard?

Hey everyone :). Hala again! I just want people's opinion about a few things, mainly when it comes to fame... Like:

• When is something "too much" - what do you guys think of Heidi Montag's surgeouries. I think she did them cause she's weird. OK. 1-3 I get, she wants to fix herself up, OK. But 10 in one day. TOO much! Do you think it's a cry for attention? (I know it's old news...) Just like her breakup with Spencer is, as @GiulianaRancic said.
• Who is a "celebutant" and who is a "celebrity". It's been known that Paris & Nicole Ritchie are the original celebutants. But now there are all these new ones coming in, thinking they think they should be famous. Don't get me wrong, I totally love the Kardashians and all, but seriously, I couldn't help but wonder: HOW ARE THEY FAMOUS? I heard Kim was a stylist, and she was friends with Paris for a while. But come on, you have to admit, she is really good at maintaining her fame! This year she released QuickTrim, a new fragrance AND a line for BeBe. Before that, she had released a workout CD, co-owned a store, Dash. That is totally impressive - plus the covers and shoots. But, when it comes to the people around her... Look at Khloe and Kourtney, OK so they had their own spin off... But generally aren't Khloe and Kourtney usually referred to as "Kim's sisters", not that they're not equally as good but Kim's more "international". Plus, there's also LaLa Vazquez. Why is she famous again? I know she's always with Kim and all, but please remind me? If you check her IMDb page, she only has 10 "gigs" and I haven't seen her in ANY. Katie Price? Britt Gastineau? Shane Llamas? This list can go on and on. And the thing they have in common is - they're famous and no one's sure why! So what is the difference between a celebrity and a celebutant anymore!? If any!

A New Story!

Hey everyone. I'm working on this new novel/story type thing. I have the first chapter more or less done.. It's yet to be edited! I'm not sure what to call the title, or how to improve on it. If you all are interested, I'll keep posting!

Red. Blue. Green. Yellow. All these colors, coming from lamps, scattered across the room. Reflecting on walls in the form of thin lines, they almost looked like lasers, there to penetrate anyone passing by. Purple. Yellow. Green, with black borders. The whole room was mesmerizing. I don’t know where to start. They are serving shrimp and dip, and had an astounding sushi bar. What should I eat? The options are too many for me to bare. But, more importantly... How did I land at such a dazzling place? It looked as if it had been a piece of pure joy. Imagine an unlimited supply of the best Godiva chocolate. Fresh. Everyday!

 

My favorite chocolate in the world was Godiva. Just as I was about to gasp “Ah, the only thing that would complete this place is Godiva”, a waiter passed by me carrying a tray of my favorite Godvia treats.

 

Just as the waiter passes by me again, the world around me became a blur. So this is what true happiness is? I recognize these people, but why can’t I remember their names. They’re all in masks, as am I. I don’t remember coming here.

What I did find odd though is that my best friend had hailed this cab for me, but did not come with me. Is she here? Where is she? Everything’s a blur, I just want to lay down and sleep. Where are the chairs? No tables? What’s going on? Where’s the door? I couldn’t move and the room kept spinning. I collapsed to the floor.

Bonjour! This is Hala, again. I'm starting a count down 'til summer vacation! Aggk! I'm so close, 27 fing days. It's too close, I can't even wait. School's being a royal pain in my ass. But whatever, I'll forget about it in... 27 days!

OK. So my little excitement is over. For now. At school, we're reading Romeo + Juliet. I feel kinda geekish, laughing along! It's some seriously funny shit!:

SAMPSON 

    Let us take the law of our sides; let them begin. 

GREGORY 

    I will frown as I pass by, and let them take it as 

    they list. 

SAMPSON 

    Nay, as they dare. I will bite my thumb at them; 

    which is a disgrace to them, if they bear it. 

    [Enter ABRAHAM and BALTHASAR]

ABRAHAM 

    Do you bite your thumb at us, sir? 

SAMPSON 

    I do bite my thumb, sir. 

ABRAHAM 

    Do you bite your thumb at us, sir? 

SAMPSON 

    [Aside to GREGORY] Is the law of our side, if I say 

    ay? 

GREGORY 

    No. 

SAMPSON 

    No, sir, I do not bite my thumb at you, sir, but I 

    bite my thumb, sir. 

GREGORY 

    Do you quarrel, sir? 

ABRAHAM 

    Quarrel sir! no, sir. 

SAMPSON 

    If you do, sir, I am for you: I serve as good a man as you. 

ABRAHAM 

    No better. 

I just found it ridiculously genius!

In other news.. My laptop went crazy on me. The "down" button FLICKED off, most of the letters are UN-CLICKABLE. Arrgg! I'm taking it to the Apple Store ASAP!

Music wise, I'm totally obsessed with Lady Gaga's "Alejandro". And, I'm liking Akon's "Oh Africa" more and more each time. Akon is just amazing, LOL!

This blog will be shared by 2 people. Me, Hala & my best friend ever, Aljohara. We've been forced to live apart.. Sounds like some sort of a made up fairy tale, right? Well.. It's not, it's very true and very sad. We'll both be updating here. 

Ok, so I love a few things: clothes, shoes all that "stuff", I love reading and writing. I love a lot of a lot of things, actually, I don't believe in hate it's a strong word. I live somewhere in the Gulf.. It may be hot, but it always feels like home. I know because I did spend some time away from it. I can't say I agree with everything people here believe in, but I do believe that people should respect all kinds of beliefs and religions.

So, I guess that's me.. Not much to me, really. Ha ha!
